Human Rights & Human Welfare is edited by representatives of an international consortium of research centers, and is managed by the University of Denver's Josef Korbel School of International Studies. The global character of the Consortium permits HRHW to review materials written in all of the major languages

The journal publishes thematic review essays, book notes, topical research digests, and a monthly roundtable forum, and hosts a working papers website.
