It was Atanu Garai, a young Indian who worked to promote internet access for Indian villages, who approached me as Founder of Globethics.net in 2006: “We need a free online library for improvement of values in our society. Can you develop it? I will support you.”

Globethics.net gives thousands of people around the world access to online materials on ethics.  

  • With 5 US dollars you make five articles available in the online library.   
  • With 17 US dollars you cover the costs for one year of one registered participant getting access to one million documents in the Globethics.net library.
  • With 20 US dollars you can finance professional submissions of 50 documents into the library and allow over 40’000 participants to access for free, including yourself.
  • With 40 US dollars you can finance an e-book  and allow thousands of teachers in developing countries to access it free of charge.
  • With 1000 US dollars you can finance a yearly subscription of three academic journals and empower students and professionals around the world who otherwise do not have access to them.
