Globethics.net is a global ethics network of experts, institutions and individuals from all walks of life interested in applied ethics. It offers with its Global Ethics Forum an innovative global platform as a three year project running from 2011 to 2013.
The Global Ethics Forum project with its focus on business ethics and sustainability builds on the success of the first Global Ethics Forum Conference that took place at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland from 2 to 3 July 2009. The second conference GEF 2011 and the third GEF 2012 expanded the dialogue and identified practical topics and areas for ethical transformation in the economy, business, politics and the society.
The GEF 2013 and 2014 marks a need phase of the GEF project aiming at deeping the Regional dialogue on the practical applications of business ethics and CSR and expanding the active participation and engagement of the GE Regional partners and networks in the GEF activities and events and in the global sustainability initiatives and processs. The GEF 2014 is the first GEF conference to take place outside Geneva - in India.

The Global Ethics Forum project is not just an annual event but an ongoing process involving four activities: events, research, exchange and documentation. Registered Globethics.net participants are able to engage in the GEF workgroups which address working topics selected by the participants of the 2011 and 2012 conferences. The goals of the project include providing opportunities for multistakeholder dialogue with a number of partners to provide innovative practical solutions to problems faced by the business community and by the wider community in relation to corporate social responsibility.
