Call for papers: International Conference on Ethics, Nairobi, Kenya

Theme: Mainstreaming Ethics in Higher Education
Dates: 29th to 31st October 2018
Venue: Lang'ata Campus
Institutions of higher education play a critical role in nurturing and preparing leaders for the society. To do this, there is need to ensure that quality education is characterized by ethical values and practices. East Africa programme in collaboration with The Catholic University of Eastern Africa is organizing an international conference under the theme "Mainstreaming Ethics in Higher Education." It is hoped that this conference will attract a wide participation from all disciplines. Participants may write on, but not limited to the following sub-themes.

Abstract Submission
Lecturers, researchers, students, ethicists and professionals who wish to participate and/or submit papers for presentation during the conference are requested to use: The email subject should be marked International Conference 2018.
Abstracts should not exceed 150 words and should follow the following format: Font type; 12-point New Times Roman, single space and APA writing style. Top, bottom, left and right margins should be one (1) inch each. Soft copy should be saved as a word file (doc or rtf).
Abstracts will be reviewed and scored on the following basis:
  • Relevance to the conference theme
  • Clarity: is the submission well organized and clearly written
  • Scholarly contribution
Conference Charges
  • CUEA Staff KES 3,000
  • Non-CUEA participants KES 5,000/USD 50
  • Students KES 1,500

  • Deadline for submission of Abstracts: 15 July 2018
  • Deadline for submission of Full paper: 30 September 2018
  • Deadline for Registration: 30 September 2018
