« Back Attends AACC 11th General Assembly

AA CC 11th General Assembely will attend the All Africa Conference of Churches 11th General Assembly, held from the 1st to 7th July 2018 in Kigali, Rwanda, represented by Executive Director, Dr Obiora Ike.
The theme is "Respecting the Dignity and God's image in every human being", with the objectives to:
  • To give exposure to all member bodies about the value of human dignity as God's Image,
  • To prepare the leadership of the African church for years to come,
  • To cross and break boundaries on both ethnic and denominational divide, build the Pan African vision among all people of Africa, give new theological insights and encourage delegates to reflect creatively on the African burning issues.
Dr Obiora Ike is set to make three interventions during the event; he will deliver a two speeches titled ‘Towards Self Sustaining and Self Reliant Christian Churches – Theological Perspectives' and ‘The Challenge of Corruption and the Role of the Church', in addition to a presentation about the Foundation.
The AACC 2018 11th General Assembly will attract over 800 participants across the African continent including the international partner organisations.
