This course is part of the Interreligious Cooperation for Peace course. A total of 24 units, structured on three parts with 8 units each: religious studies (Part A), cultural studies (part B), and ethical studies (part C), designed for an incremental learning path with many cross-references from one course part to the other. However, each course part can be taken separately.
The learning contents of this course emphasise the role of ethical principles, standards, and values in building trustful relationships among people of different religions.
The course participants will develop critical discernment capacities related to conditions, situations, attitudes, and behaviours leading to conflict and those conducive to building just and peaceful communities. Furthermore, a broad range of conceptual and practice-oriented assignments will help course participants to apply the competences acquired in their contextual and professional settings. This part of the course on Interreligious Cooperation for Peace introduces the participants of the certificate track to prepare fieldwork, which can be chosen according to four preferred modes of engagement: academic project, educational project, community project, or visual-bodily experience project.

Participants whose first language is not English are recommended to have a minimum English language-proficiency of B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
