“It is with sadness that I inform you that Guido Sacco passed away on 1 November 2021 in a hospital in Egypt. Guido was for the maximum duration of eight years (from 2011-2018) a Board member of our Globethics.net Board of Foundation. He helped Globethics.net very much by helping to invest successfully in real estate for some years. He remained active in real estate, among others in a large project in Egypt. We keep Guido in mind and heart as a very committed person”. With these words, Globethics.net President and Founder, Christoph Stückelberger announced the passing of Mr Sacco to the Globethics.net Board of Foundation and team.

Guido Erich Sacco, originally from Italy, was General Manager of Bestimmo Suisse SA, a real estate agent, during his time as member of the Globethics.net Board of Foundation. He served as General Manager of SEVEN in Italy and in Spain, of Hetakem in Switzerland, as President of AEE Suisse, Logoprint and Logitrade and Founder and CEO of Elysées Concept International. He was a strategic marketing advisor and former dean of studies in Neuchâtel, Switzerland and former professor of post-graduate courses in marketing and related areas in France and at the Ecole Supérieur de Management in Switzerland.

Mr Sacco was an active Board member from the time of his first meeting in San José, Costa Rica in 2011, bringing his knowledge and experience on, for example, marketing, fundraising, organisational development and sustainable practices to the organisation.

Christoph Stückelberger and members of the Globethics.net network and team were in attendance at the funeral of Mr Sacco along with family, friends and colleagues in Founex, Switzerland on 11 November 2021.
