Obiora IKE portraitProf. Dr Obiora Ike (Nigeria and Germany) Executive Director

Reverend Monsignor Prof. Dr Obiora Ike is a human rights activist, development practitioner, public speaker, author, teacher, pastor and bridge builder across continents.
Dr Ike studied in Nigeria, Austria, Germany, France and UK, and holds degrees in philosophy, theology, economics, journalism and political science.
He gained his doctorate in Bonn, Germany, with a specialisation in Christian Social Principles in 1986. Dr Ike has held several posts in church, society and state. He founded a number of development organisations in Nigeria, including the Catholic Institute for Development Justice Peace and Caritas (CIDJAP) and the Umuchinemere Procredit Microfinance Bank and has served as the chairperson of 27 organisations. He has also held several academic posts, most recently as Professor of Ethics and Intercultural Studies, Godfrey Okoye University, Nigeria and chairs the Government of Enugu State Economic Advisory Committee since 2015.

Amélé Ekué (Togo and Germany)
Academic Dean

Amélé Ekué is a Protestant theologian and professor of ethics originating from Togo. She is specialised in ethics, ecumenics and intercultural theology. She served the World Council of Churches for 12 years as professor of ethics at the Ecumenical Institute Bossey and as programme executive for Ecumenical Theological Education. Amélé Ekué joined in September 2019, where she holds the position of Academic Dean.
