Ethics Champions of today, Ethical leaders of tomorrow
The girls at the Abuja Catholic Girl's College - Regina Pacis- with their teachers and Principal Sr Ugonna Igbo DDL at Garki are putting ethics at the foreground of their education. Concerned about integrating values in their studies and their lives, they have started their own Club of Ethics at the college and they are positioning themselves to become examplary in learning and character as Ethics Champions, ambassadors and Leaders as their response o the challenge of Globethics.net invitation recently.
Taking the opportunity given by the Globethics.net Board biannual meeting that took place in Abuja, Nigeria, the Board members visited the College community to join them in service and saw first-hand the Ethics Club and their work. One of the teachers even accepted to showcase Art and Ethics in an exhibition in Geneva, Switzerland and Nigeria. This exhibition will be an opportunity to showcase ethics I'm pictures, expressions and its impact on how we live and behave ethically through photography and art.
These activities illustrates strengthen the orientation of CIDJAP inviting all to encourage the integration of ethics in higher education. The secondary school students of Regina Pacis who live in an all girls boarding house will go next year to university and are already best equipped. They shall keep the agenda of ethical values alive in the university's by empowering themselves to become the responsible leaders of tomorrow. The future of the African woman depends on students such as these.
