Ethics-related Workshops organised by India and the Center for Study of World Religions India and the Centre for the Study of World Religions (CSWR), are jointly organising a series of workshops on ethics-related areas aimed at critically examining domains such as "Literature and Ethics," "Economics and Ethics," "Psychology and Ethics," and "Politics and Ethics."  

These workshops intend to bring together scholars and students from their respective fields to present their scientific studies, which will be published in print form by the Journal of Dharma (Dharmaram Journal of Religions and Philosophies) and in the online library of (

The first workshop on "Literature and Ethics" was successfully held on 2 March 2013 and the second took place on 6 July 2013 on the theme "Economics and Ethics." 

Presentations at the workshop on "Politics and Ethics" on 14 September 2013 included ‘The Politics of Secularization and its Moral Discontents/Disenchantments' by Prof. Purushottama Bilimoria from the University of California-Berkeley and Melbourne University and ‘The Dialectics of Politics and Ethics in Taylor and Gandhi: Connections, Dilemmas and Convergences' by Dr Joshy Paramthottu from DVK, Bangalore.
