ICDE Satellite Event - Experiences in East Africa, an inter-generational Roundtable

Purpose of Activity:

  • To address the role of open and distance learning during this pandemic, especially in East Africa;
  • To share best practices and lessons learnt from it;
  • To learn how these lessons can be applied to future challenges we will have as a global society and how to ensure education continues no matter what;
  • To reflect on the importance of ethics in the process of setting goals and developing practices to meet our future realities.

Activity Details:

The activity is structured in 2 roundtables with speakers from universities of the region. There will be Q & E spaces with participants between each roundtable. It will be a Live Zoom Chat, so all participants will be visible (and most of the time asked to stay on mute!)
