Apakah the Global Ecumenical Theological Institute?

The Global Ecumenical Theological Institute (GETI) berlangsung di Seoul dan Busan/Korea dari 25 Oktober sampai 9  November 2013, bersamaan dengan World Council of Churches' 10th Assembly, sebagai event utama untuk sekitar 150 mahasiswa teologi muda dari seluruh wilayah di dunia dan semua tradisi denominasi, untuk mengikuti program kursus teologi intensif selama dua minggu. Kurikulum program ini fokus pada "masa depan ekumenisme dan transformasi Dunia Kristen di abad ke-21" dan diarahkan ke tema saidang WCC " Tuhan kehidupan, memandu kita untuk keadilan dan perdamaian".  GETI merupakan ajang bagi formasi kepemimpinan ekumenikal, pembelajaran teologi yang intensif dan dialogue yang seimbang dan juga dialog antar generasi dengan para pemimpin yang penting dari gerakan ekumenisme dan evangelik.

GETI adalah sebuah inisiatif khusus yang disiapkan dan didukung oleh Program Pendidikan Teologi Ekumeni dari   World Council of Churches bekerja sama dengan Bossey Ecumenical Institute dan jaringan mitra Perguruan tinggi teologi dan asosiasi sekolah teologi baik di Korea dan wilayah lain.

You can download the newly published GETI reader "Ecumenical Visions for the 21st Century" as an e-book (purchase the hard copy book on amazon), access lecture scripts and other papers. You can connect with GETI from your home computer, get actively involved in discussions and have your voice heard within GETI! Follow us on Facebook and Twitter and read daily live news threads on the lectures and discussions that are happening in the plenary sessions. You can participate in virtual discussions and share your opinion. Interesting reactions, comments or questions from the Facebook community will even be adressed on the spot to the GETI plenum in Busan by our communications team.
