Abstract:
One can philosophize through lengthy explanations and towering treaties. But there is another tradition: that of the aphorism, the art of the fragment. To make the reader think through one or a few brief sentences, a digest of thought that tries to capture in few words a vivid problematic, in a striking form. Often critical, ironic or mocking, this laconic form of philosophical expression is generous because it is trusting: the reader will understand mere implicit meaning, he will read between the lines. And when will be highlighted the sordid of the human soul, he will not be sad but joyful, for consciousness makes us free. The issue is to reconcile with our own finitude, to accept our own humanity, for better and for worse.

Abstract:
In this book Islamic law is presented from various perspectives to find the common thread between the Sharia, Islamic law and Islamic jurisprudence. The discussion is focused on the characteristics and principles of Islamic law as a means of providing a general overview of how Islamic law should be positioned, especially in the efforts of formulating legal rules that seek to bring benefit for people. Islamic law is brought from its ideal concepts into practical usage. This works gives many concrete examples of the critical understanding of social behaviours in the Islamic society, such as Muslim clothing and the conduct of Muslim women, by providing meticulous hermeneutic analysis of the literature that is used as legitimation of certain religious conventions. This work instills a deep ethical understanding of the normative foundations of Islamic law in the global perspective.

Abstract:
In October 2016, the Conference of European Churches brought together in Zagreb (Croatia) dozens of experts to discuss the challenges facing minority churches, and religious minorities in general. The European landscape presents many difficulties for these communities. Some struggle with obtaining legal status, some are subject to discrimination, exclusion or even open hostility. Widespread prejudices, destruction or confiscation of property, and barriers to religious rituals and ceremonies make daily life difficult for many communities across the continent. CEC, and the participants gathered at the Zagreb conference, are convinced that minorities bring value to societies, and that deeper religious literacy, enhanced understanding, and fostering dialogue will contribute to their flourishing. This volume contains their contributions to these discussions with a hope that it will contribute to healthy, diverse societies throughout Europe.

Abstract:
The main focus of this work is that, by her vocation, the Church has the mandate and challenge to teach all nations. It is her pastoral and canonical responsibility. School method of Evangelization was the successful tool in the hands of the early Missionaries in Nigeria. But the State forcefully took over Mission schools in 1970. Nationalization of schools and monopoly of control are forms of state-imposed secularism and moral relativism. Forty years after this nationalization of schools, the system of education has virtually collapsed. Just recently, the State started the process of returning mission schools to their various owners.
