null Signed, Sealed, Delivered: Celebrates its Second Institutional Accreditation Award Conferred by the British Accreditation Council

The Academy has worked since 2020 consistently on the development of the quality framework of its course programme, to be able to provide a conducive environment for study in the field of applied ethics. An integral part of the team’s engagement consisted in leading the organisation as a whole to an institutional accreditation status that would allow to become an internationally recognised provider in the higher education sector. The first accreditation process with the European Agency of Higher Education and Accreditation (EAHEA) was completed in December 2021 with the distinction “very good” conferred as part of the final audit report.

On 30 May 2022, the British Accreditation Council (BAC) informed the Academy of the successful completion of the second accreditation process, which began in July 2021. After the onsite inspection in Geneva in March 2022 and the establishment of a comprehensive inspection report, the BAC Accreditation Committee decided to confer the status “Accredited by the British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education as an Online, Distance & Blended Learning Provider.” This accreditation comes with a four-years full inspection cycle and an interim visit within the first 12 months.

The achievement of the dual institutional accreditation constitutes a major milestone in’s history and encourages the entire team to persevere in its insistence on quality as the utmost driver of growth.
