null Call For Contributions to the Future Learning Toolkit

We would like to produce an open-access digital toolkit on our online repository. We plan to design this Future Learning Toolkit as a living, electronic document that will be accessible for all free of charge. We will pursue the vision of integrating the conference proceedings, the selected best solutions and a number of additional invited contributions, along our thematic foci on inclusion, equity and diversity, from among our network.

We cordially invite you to collaborate with us on the realisation of this project by sending us your contributions offered during the Building New Bridges Together 2021 international conference process (Hackathon on 9 and 10 November and international conference on 10 December 2021). We are interested in all different types of contributions: hackathon solutions, notes of hackathon breakout sessions; background documents, keynotes, vignettes, panel contributions, etc. We also welcome contributions from those who were not able to attend the conference and look forward to seeing the wide spectrum of materials that come forward.

Please submit them latest by 30 January 2022 to conference@globethics.net. Your timely submissions will assist us in evaluating more precisely the need for complementary contributions and in fine-tuning the structure for the Future Learning Toolkit. We are aiming to publish the toolkit at the beginning of the second quarter of 2022 and will regularly communicate our work-in-progress with you, as appropriate. Your participation in this co-creational process is highly valued and we thank you very much in advance.

Building New Bridges Together Conference

Held in November and December 2021, our International Conference focused on Building New Bridges Together: Inclusion, Equity and Diversity in Higher Education – For the World We Want to Shape.

Throughout the events, we heard from multiple individuals sharing their unique insights and experiences on the topics of inclusion, equity and diversity in higher education. We also, for the first time, held a Hackathon, in which participants from all over the world discussed and workshopped solutions to address the issues at hand. Read more about the International Conference here.

We are confident that the great ideas that flowed throughout the sessions will drive an innovative and actionable Future Learning Toolkit.
