null Donor Relations and Product Development Officer (80%) is an international non-profit non-governmental organization with a global network of persons and institutions interested in applied ethics with a focus on ethics in higher education. Through its global digital library on ethics contributes to improving access to knowledge resources in ethics especially for the global South. In addition, it facilitates collaborative web-based research, conferences, online publishing, e-learning and active sharing of information. aims at strengthening global common values as well as respect for ethical contextual diversity.
We are looking for a Donor Relations and Product Development Officer (80%) to work with institutional partners and individuals to raise funds for the activities and projects of around the world as well as contributing to the development of products for our beneficiaries in the higher education sector and professions. The person would work closely with the Executive Director, Deputy Executive Director, the Finance and Business Development Officer and the product development staff in a small dynamic team based at the Head Office in Geneva, Switzerland. We are looking for a flexible and motivated team player.
Major Tasks
  • Manage donor relations and accounts to ensure that the organisation's strategic objectives and targets are met. This would include on-going research into potential and existing supporters, preparation of expressions of interest, approaches and campaigns, preparation of funding proposals and texts, correspondence, reports to donors, partners and management and record keeping and filing 
  • Support and contribute to the development and delivery of products and services related to ethics in higher education for teachers, higher education institutions, students and professions 
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and requirements
  • Affinity with's vision, mission and values
  • Swiss / EU citizen, ideally with a Swiss work permit
  • Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field
  • Fluent in English and in French / German
  • Experience in and knowledge of the education sector
  • Experience in and understanding of fundraising and communication in the international non-profit sector
  • Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Power Point and similar programmes 
  • Positive attitude, ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines; good communication skills.
