Globethics.net (GE) is a global network on applied ethics with individual and institutional participants from all continents. It came into a cooperation agreement with the Centre for Social Justice and Ethics (CSJE) of the Catholic University of Eastern Africa as a partner and host of the program Globethics.net East Africa (GE-EA) as the Regional Programme of Globethics.net for East Africa in March 2011.
The Globethics.net East Africa programme is organizing a one-day interdisciplinary session under the theme "Ethics for Responsible Leadership in the 21st Century. It is hoped that it will attract a wide participation from all disciplines, lecturers, students and researchers to exchange ideas on ethical leadership in various fields.

Abstract Submission
Lecturers, theologians, researchers, students and other ethicists who wish to participate and/or submit papers for presentation during the interdisciplinary session are requested to use: csje@cuea.edu; herb@cuea.edu or enduku@cuea.edu The email subject should be marked Globethics.net Session

Abstracts should not exceed 400 words and should follow the following format: Font type; 12-point Cambria, double space and APA writing style. Top, bottom, left and right margins should be one (1) inch each. Soft copy should be saved as a word file (Ms Word 2003 Compatible format or Rich Text Format).
Abstracts will be reviewed and scored on the following basis:
- Relevance to the Interdisciplinary theme
- Clarity: is the submission well organized and clearly written
- Scholarly contribution
Please note: Only those whose abstracts have been accepted will be contacted and requested to develop the full paper for presentation.
