On November 11 – 12 2017, members of the auspicious organisation The Club of Rome gathered in Vienna for the high-level annual conference.
The event was attended by Globethics.net's Executive Director, Dr Obiora Ike, who is currently serving as President of the Africa Chapter of the Club of Rome for Nigeria.

The theme driving this year's agenda was the growing political tensions around the globe on the back of growing inequality, migration, unemployment, populism and political extremism. This current crisis, the organisation suggests, is the result of a ‘resistance to globalisation' that is also compromising effort to address an even greater issue—global warming.
