WHO poster on the World Health Day 2017Health and well-being are essential parts of your life. Today 7 April 2017, World Health Day, sponsored by the World Health Organization (WHO), is a unique opportunity to mobilize action around a specific health topic of concern to people all over the world.

The theme of 2017 World Health Day campaign is ‘Depression: Let's Talk'.
The WHO's theme for World Health Day this year aims to highlight how depression can be prevented and treated, considering that depression is an illness that can affects people of all ages, from all walks of life and in all countries.
Here, at Globethics.net we believe in the power of each individual to influence and change our world and lives. This is why we are providing knowledge resources in ethics in our digital library on bioethics, health ethics, mental illnesses, and nursing ethics and on solving ethical dilemmas in treatment of patients in order to become aware and more compassionate.

You can find a space to exchange on critical issues and on values-driven thoughts and ideas on our online platform that will help reduce the stigma associated with the health issues, and lead to more people seeking and getting help.
