On Thursday, October 5, 2017, the 5th Ethical Forum of the Electric Sector was held in Bogotá Colombia. This time the slogan that gave identity to the event was "The ethics of energy that differentiates us".
The activity was attended by legal representatives, audit managers, compliance managers, general secretary of the Colombian electricity sector companies, who assumed and reaffirmed their commitment years ago to a policy of zero tolerance for corruption.
The forum aimed to:
- Continue generating a space for reflection, action and commitment around ethics in the sector.
- Present advances of the collective action of ethics and transparency, associated to the declaration of commitments of the companies of the electric sector.
- Advance of the map of corruption risks in the Electricity Sector and good practices to minimize them.
The main conference was presented by our program executive Deivit Montealegre who addressed the ethical view on values-based leadership through a conference entitled "The Business Ethical Ecosystem: A Step Before and After the Rules and Regulations".
