null Theses Book Launch Event

We're delighted to announce a book launch that will be held on the 19 March 2018 in rooms II & III of the Ecumenical Centre (see full details below).
 
 
Women's Status and Gender Relations in Post-Genocide Rwanda is a doctoral thesis that assesses changes related to women's status and gender relations at the local level of Rwanda, exploring the responsibilities allocated to women in the local government, religious institutions and the family decisions. The author Dr Josephine Mukabera is head of the department of Rural and Community Development, at the Protestant Institute of Arts and Social Sciences (PIASS) in Rwanda.
 
There will be an opportunity to meet the author who will provide short presentation of her research with a Q & A session at the end.
