Higher education is a driver and catalyst for growth and development. Therefore graduates should understand the various approaches to ethical dilemmas.
The main responsibilities of universities must be to engage and raise awareness and provide solutions for ethical, cultural and social problems, to develop students' ability to identify and respond to ethical issues. Essentially important to turn up what are the right things to teach and what the right time is. The problem, Dinya Singh highlights, is that 21st century graduates are often considered underprepared for the world of work.  Hence, Unesco's Post-2015 Educational Agenda offers some recommendations on improving the quality of education.

Gard Titlestad talked about the vital role of ICDE (International Council for Open and Distance Education) – the global open and distance education community. He highlighted that the UNs 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is addressing the entire world and all levels of education, including higher education, unlike the Millennium Development Goals 2000-2015, which were addressing developing countries and mainly primary education. He also talked about how to implement ideas to "Combine Bricks and Clicks".
