This short discussion paper on Ethics in Higher Education as a Key Driver for Recovery in a World Living with COVID-19 is the result of a year-long consultation with contributions from experts and practitioners in the field. The higher education sector as a whole has been and continues to be challenged to adapt and to ensure that institutions and students are not only able to survive but to continue and to thrive. Ethics in higher education is at the heart of that dynamic process, serving to identify and address inequalities with ethics as the foundation of the effort to find solutions and to continue to envision a world in which responsible leadership with integrity is the norm. The Globethics.net Board of Foundation endorses this discussion paper and invites readers to engage with the critical issues, questions and recommendations made.

The Africa We Pray for on a Pilgrimage of Justice and Peace
The World Council of Churches and the All Africa Conference of Churches invited young people to contribute to the discussion on the Pilgrimage of Justice and Peace, with its three dimensions of celebrating life together–visiting wounds and engaging in transformative action–in the African context. Participants reflected on four closely interrelated themes: Truth and Trauma (peacebuilding), Land and Displacement (economic, ecological justice and migration), Gender Justice, and Racial Justice. This collection of selected essays shares the dreams and aspirations of these young people towards Agenda 2063: The Africa We Want goals. Aspiration 6 of the African Union is for an Africa whose development is people-driven, relying on the potential of African people, especially its women and youth, and caring for children. The essay competition provided a platform for youth to engage in research and write their aspirations of the Africa They Want, an Africa they pray for, as the future guardians of the continent.
The third ACAP workshop in Kenya, which took place successively in Ghana and Zambia, had responsible asset management and ethical principles for investment at the core of its agenda. This 2019 exercise endeavoured to take stock of the current status and future priorities, challenges and opportunities in the leadership, ethics, governance and sustainability in participants’institutions. Best practices were shared as well as challenges in order to create a common understanding of ethical investment. The programme was realized in collaboration with the All African Conference of Churches (AACC) and Bread for the World. The report aimed at supporting churches and church-related organizations in Africa is divided into eight sections with a particular focus on leadership, ethics, governance, and sustainability. It is followed by a baseline survey and the official communique.
With the proliferation of the Internet, overcoming plagiarism seems insurmountable for students, teachers and researchers, who tend to find little choice between academia and the law in this regard. With a multidisciplinary approach and twenty years of expertise and research on this topic, Prof. Bergadaà proposes a concrete methodology for addressing this issue, both for the plagiarised and plagiariser, as well as for the institutions and associations. Researchers, students, directors of journals and institutions, as well as other actors in the scientific arena such as policy makers and lawyers are all concerned with preserving the value of integrity at the core of research ethics.

Ethics of Inclusion and Equality. vol. 2 Economy, Education, Religion
'Ethics of Inclusion and Equality', in two volumes, is a reader of 58 articles from the author on all areas of social and political life. Vol. 1 features articles on the themes of ‘Politics and Society'; Vol. 2 includes the authors insight on ‘Economy and Environment', ‘Education, Children and Sexuality', and ‘Religion and Tolerance'. Each Section underpins India's political economy, where India is taken as a referral point for analysis and interpretation. The literature reflects a trend sweeping the world as of 2018: the success of far-right conservative politics as a reaction to liberal appeasement politics, identity politics and the rejection of multiculturalism. The author address these issues in a direct, often devastating, fashion.
