Global Ethics Forum (GEF)
Global Ethics Forum (GEF)
As a result of the Global Ethics Forum 2016, the Globethics.net Programme on Ethics in Higher Education has been established, which includes convening the Globethics Consortium on Ethics in Higher Education of universities and institutions. The inaugural meeting of the Consortium will take place in Geneva, Switzerland from 21-23 June 2017.
Please note that the next Global Ethics Forum will take place in 2018.
Globethics.net is an online platform with a wealth of resources on ethics and ethics-related areas that hosts the largest online network in the world of institutions and individuals from all walks of life interested in applied ethics. Globethics.net is dedicated to promoting values-driven transformation for sustainable living.
The Global Ethics Forum is Globethics.net's flagship event, with six global conferences organised since 2009, five in Geneva, Switzerland and one in Bangalore, India.
Its goal is to provide a platform for inspiration, exchange/reflection, networking and action in order to foster values-driven individuals and institutions across sectors.
What makes the Global Ethics Forum a unique event is:

2. Its global reach - we include leaders and future leaders from all continents, with a specific eye on including actors from developing countries; and
3. Its cross-sectorial approach - we believe responsible, values-driven leadership concerns all sectors. As such, we make it a point to include actors from different sectors, including higher education, religious organisations, business and politics.
The 2016 Global Ethics Forum took place from 23 to 25 June in Geneva, Switzerland and focused on the topic "Ethics in Action - Higher Education: The Value of Values across Sectors". Please consult the GEF 2016 pages for more information.
