During the WSIS Forum panel, the new book by Christoph Stückelberger and Pavan Duggal, Data Ethics: Building Trust, was introduced to the scholars, advocates, and policymakers gathered in Geneva, and those joining around the world via online streaming.

The session also provided the opportunity to share other Globethics Publications on the topic of ethics and digital and emerging technologies.

The Globethics panel at the WSIS Forum 2023 and the publication launched at the session were featured in the Journal of Ethics in Higher Education Issue 2(2023) in an article by Erin Green and Ignace Haaz: Review of Data Ethics - A report based on the WSIS 2023 launch.

In their words, Geneva was a significant place for the launch of this publication, not only as a hub of the information society, but also as the new place where global dialogue on values can take place, made possible through the internet and digital communications.

The book covers ethical reflections and recommendations in eight dimensions: a) Values, Trust and Law, b) AI, Robots and Humans, c) Health and Neuroscience, d) Religions for Digital Justice, e) Farming, Business, Finance, f) Security, War, Peace, g) Data Governance, Geopolitics, h) Media, Education, Communication.
